Dan Vellinga grew up in Marshalltown, part of the High School Class of 1978. He married the former Jeanne Reben, his high school sweetheart, and went to college and seminary at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma. After nearly 30 years in ministry, he got to come back to his hometown. On his days off, he likes to hike, bike and read.
